March 2016 - DBP Data Center Inc. has entered an Agency-to-Agency Agreement and officially began an IT undertaking with the Philippine Economic Zone Authority (PEZA) for systems development.
DCI President Nilo S. Cruz and PEZA Director General Lilia De Lima signed a memorandum of agreement for this purpose.
The project, known as PEZA EcoZone Development System, is composed of three modules for billing and collection, engineering permits and applications, and electronic application registration.
In line with this development is the migration of their database from Oracle 6i to MarkLogic NoSQL.
DCI who has been focused on servicing its mother company, The Development Bank of the Philippines, is now again, active in rendering its services to other government agencies and local government units.
Its Channel Manager, Maggi Ortega, and Rufel Aganan spearhead the project for the development alongside a 10 member technical team.
